Millionaires record victories

LENOX — Lenox Memorial’s varsity girls’ soccer team scored three goals in each half and played virtually air-tight defense in posting a 6-0 win over visiting Mt. Everett Tuesday night.
   
Both teams entered the contest having recorded their initial victories of the season in their previous outings. The Millionaires rallied from a 1-0 haltime deficit with three second-half goals to knock off Drury 3-1 at home on Sept. 18. On Sept. 19, the Eagles, two days after suffering a n4-0 home-field loss to Hoosac Valley traveled to Hunter, N.Y., and notched a 3-1 victory over Windham in the first round of  the Hunter-Tannersville Tournament.
   
On Saturday, Sept. 26, the Eagles are slated to return to Hunter for the upper Catskill tournament’s championship round.
